This park is excellent for walking babies, and has plenty of green grass areas to run around. Come to Trolley Park and enjoy an evening of free entertainment during university height summer in the Park concert series. Concerts start from the beginning of July to middle August.

Birney Elementary School is a well rated school with incredibly qualified teachers. It’s a public school containing about 565 children. It’s an excellent well-organized school with attentive and knowledgeable teachers. The community is welcoming, and the parents are actively involved in making the school a success. They also have special classes, arts and adorable gardens. Extracurricular activities include the band, ceramics sculpture, computer arts, and chorus. Sports include Baseball, basketball, cheerleading and cross country, football, tennis, track, yoga, volleyball and ultimate Frisbee.

This is a corporation in University Heights which helps promote and enhance both the residential and commercial entities of the University of Heights communities. It seeks to preserve the history and that of the adjacent neighborhood. The UHCDC encourages business participation in its activities and has successfully increased the number of new businesses and storefront improvements. They are also responsible for development functions such as business attraction, retention, and development, marketing the City, and housing market analysis and growth. To help do this, the office seeks local, state, and federal grant funding to continue to bring residents new parks and green space, new roads and streetscapes, and public safety measures.
